Leatha has been at RRCP since it began in 2007. She taught elementary school for 25 years before coming to RRCP. She loves to teach the kids about letters and sounds and words but most of all she loves to teach the Bible to the children. Her favorite part of the day is hearing the kids sing their songs. Leatha grew up on a farm with 3 brothers and now enjoys spending time with her adult children and her two dogs.
Becky joined the preschool staff at RRCP 2017 and teaches one of the three-year-old classes. In addition to her preschool experience, she has taught lower elementary school for almost ten years. Her favorite part of the day is singing with her class. She loves to watch each child discover new things and grow in their learning. Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13- "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Becky and her husband Chris have two girls and a boy.
Cheryl became part of the RRCP teaching staff in 2019. She holds multiple credentials and certifications for early childhood teaching and has over a decade of experience in the early childhood setting. She loves to work with the children in all aspects of the curriculum, but she especially enjoys seeing young faces light up when they succeed. Cheryl loves the outdoors and observing wildlife from her home in the mountains. She has two adult children who both live in the Denver area.
Donna joined the RRCP staff in 2020 as a four-year-old teacher. She taught kindergarten and elementary school for 24 years previously. In addition to her lengthy experience, she holds a Masters degree in Education. Donna thoroughly enjoys teaching the children, and her favorite Bible verse is Matthew 19:14: "But Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.'" Donna and her husband Brian enjoy spending time in the yard and working in their garden. Donna has two stepchildren and one granddaughter.
Bernadine has been in the early childhood field for over 25 years and has been at RRCP since 2011. She loves every part of working with the children because they are so much fun. She loves when they grasp what they are being taught and when she can see their growth in learning to color neatly. Bernadine is a Colorado native and is married to Sven. She loves to cook and try new recipes, write children's stories, and spend time with family and friends.
Kerri works as an aide in one of the three year old classes. She joined the staff of RRCP for the 2019 school year. She enjoys seeing the world through the children's eyes and learn what is important to them. Kerri and her husband Rob have four children of their own: two in college, one in high school and one in middle school. Her favorite Bible verse is Micah 7:18-19. When she's not running around to her daughters' volleyball matches she likes to read and watercolor paint.
Amanda Rusch joined the preschool staff in the fall of 2020. She serves as an aide in one of the three year old classes and has her associates degree in early childhood education as well as over years in the childcare field. Amanda loves working in a kind, supporting atmosphere and especially enjoys the Bible story portion of the day. She is a Colorado native and has two kids.
Lilli began working at Red Rocks in 2012 and she has worked in education for 19 years. She was born in Mexico and moved to Colorado as a young woman. She loves to read and spend time with her husband, Sabino, and her 3 adult children, Erick, Omar, and Edith. Her favorite parts about teaching are seeing students understand something that they’ve been trying to learn and watching the children's enthusiasm in chapel as they learn to love God.
Pastor Zach has been part of the staff of Red Rocks Baptist Church since August of 2016. He serves as an assistant pastor and loves teaching the preschool children in the weekly chapel time. Zach is originally from New Hampshire and trained for ministry in South Carolina. Zach and his wife Kate have three sons: Zane, Xander and Knox. They love the outdoors and enjoy spending time with family, hiking, traveling to national parks and drinking coffee.
